Crowne Plaza Seattle Downtown Partnership With Beekman 1802 To Bring A Touch Of Luxury To Our Guests
Beekman 1802 was founded by Josh Kilmer Purcell and Brent Ridge, two New York City gents who bought a farm in Sharon Springs, NY and transformed it into a brand when they opened a local store there to sell their own creations as well as those of local artisans.
Today, the "Fabulous Beekman Boys" are known around the world in entertainment and design circles and celebrated for their original and beautiful approach to reinventing Americana textiles, furnishings and decorative pieces.
The Beekman Boys are all about bringing a little-unexpected luxury to everyday life. At the Crowne Plaza Seattle Downtown our guests can have a little bit of pampered luxury when they stay with us and we are thrilled to offer their shampoo, conditioner and hand lotion.
We will send you free Beekman Products that we offer in our hotel guest rooms. Just tell us what you think of your website experience.
Please expect up to 30 days for your Beekman products to arrive. We thank you for your patience, and your interest in the Crowne Plaza Seattle! The offer is restricted to the US addresses and is limited to one per family.
Our Beekman Guest Amenities
Pure Goat Milk Shampoo
We take skincare seriously. Having perfected our soaps and creams, we next wanted to see what ingredients we could combine with goat milk to create nutritive formulas for hair that had been "scientifically perfected”... by nature. Whether your “chores” are on the streets of a city or down and dirty in a barn, the environment (and the styling products you use) do a number on your hair. Never fear. Beekman is here. Beekman 1802 revitalizes the centuries-old tradition of bathing your hair in goat milk. Our shampoo uses a goat milk base infused with natural extracts and amino acids. Every wash revitalizes tired hair, returning it to a healthier state, while protecting hair from environmental damage. Fragrance-free formulation.
Pure Goat Milk Conditioner
We take skincare seriously. Having perfected our soaps and creams, we next wanted to see what ingredients we could combine with goat milk to create nutritive formulas for hair that had been "scientifically perfected”... by nature. Beekman 1802 revitalizes the centuries-old tradition of bathing your hair in goat milk. Our conditioner is specifically formulated with goat milk to provide the same moisturizing benefits for your hair as it does for your skin. The hydrating botanicals and amino acids creates a moisture barrier and leaves hair feeling silky and smooth. This is a fragrance-free formulation.
Beekman 1802 Pure Goat Milk Hand Lotion
Our hands go through a lot on the farm. A lot. So we developed a hand cream to help keep them soft and healthy. Our Pure Goat Milk hand cream is fragrance free and safe for sensitive skin. We also use the highest percentage of pure goat milk possible.
Like all our soaps & skincare products, we try to eliminate harmful chemicals while featuring botanical based ingredients. Essential ingredients – Shea butter protects, moisturizes and soothes skin. Pure goat milk is rich in vitamins and gentle on skin. Sulfate & Paraben Free. Clean and simple. Just like country life.
Beekman founded 1802 Mercantile in 2008. But actually, they consider ourselves to be a 211-year-old company.
When they stumbled across the Beekman 1802 Farm in upstate New York, they had no plans to create a business around it. But like Judge William Beekman, who originally built the farm over 200 years ago, they were inspired by the land and the community to build something lasting. In fact, Beekman himself opened the area's first Mercantile, right across the street from where the farm still stands.
After taking in a neighboring farmer and his herd of beloved dairy goats, they began producing soaps and cheese (with LOTS of help from neighbors!)
Soon the press began noticing the little farm and village that refused to give up. (New York Times, Daily News, USA Today) A television network launched a reality show about their effort – The Fabulous Beekman Boys – which spread the Beekman message of hard work, living seasonally, and neighborly sharing around the globe.
In 2012, they competed in a 45,000 mile race around the world, through 12 cities, in 9 different countries and ended up winning in CBS’s The Amazing Race.
Like William Beekman, they collaborate with local farmers, craftspeople & artisans to produce most of what you find both online and in our physical Mercantile on Main Street in Sharon Springs, NY. They pay fair prices for quality goods. They work with our neighbors to help them grow their businesses. They produce our goods seasonally, because, well, that's how goats, chickens, pigs, garden & trees do it. They personally eat, use, wear, and wash with the goods that they sell.
Beekman 1802 is now "the fastest growing lifestyle brand in America," they believe that we'll never ever go wrong as long as they treat every single person like they were the next door neighbor.
